Dear Parents/Guardians,
Third grade is done with MCA testing...they all tried so hard!! I am very proud of them all!!. Results will be sent home in the fall. We have slipped a little behind now in math class, so this week we will review Topic 14 and test later in the week. Daily 5 has introduced a couple new strategies...Literary Elements 1&2. Ask your child about these!Spelling for grade 2 will focus on prefix re-. Grade 3 spelling will focus on prefix re- and un-.
Spelling gr 2~ paint-repaint, pay-repay, group-regroup, new-renew, turn-return, check-recheck
Spelling gr 3~ rebuild, rewrite, recharge, reprint, unable, unequal, unclear, unwrap (cursive and print)
May 19th grade 2 will be going to Como Zoo and grade 3 will be going to Fort Snelling. More information to come. Track and Field day is May 22 (this is and all day event!!)
