February is I Love to Read Month. Watch for different activities happening throughout the week/month!, Be sure to read one chapter each night from Winter According to Humphrey. Wear something a snowperson would wear in the winter on Friday!!! The students did an awesome job selling pizza!!! They met their goal!!! Thank you!!!!!Academics this week will cover Key ideas/Details, Sentences, and Black History Month. Thank you for coming in for your child's conference! I am looking forward to the last half of the year and seeing the academic growth continue.  Have a great week!!

I look forward to meeting with you this week and going over your child's progress. If you are not able to make your conference for some reason, please call the office and they will send me a message. We can always reschedule it. This week in class we will get caught up from last week, Pizza sales are coming to a close soon. If you have not sold any yet you might want to think about it. A case of pizzas will put $45 toward the cost of Wolf Ridge. It is a great savings on delicious pizza!! I hope you enjoyed the long weekend!! Have a great week and I will see you either Tuesday or Thursday!

Well, the cold weather has decided to make its presence known yet again. Mr. Ronnenberg will watch the temps as Thursday approaches. If it gets too cold, he will postpone for another time. PLEASE make sure your child has the appropriate outdoor clothing. Only two weeks of January left, that is crazy!! With that being said, I have a little over two months to get the majority of my curriculum in. If you plan on taking any extended vacations, please let me know so I can plan around those. My goal this week is to get textual evidence and vocabulary in.

We are back!! One week down , the next few weeks are going to fly!! Late stat this week, Powder Ridge next week, and conferences the last week. I am planning FastBridge for Tuesday. I will do both Reading and Math, results will be shared at our conference. With only two weeks before Powder Ridge, please make sure your child has appropriate gear, especially gloves/mittens. PLEASE NO KNIT GLOVES, they are not warm enough for all day. This week we will wrap up some lessons from last week and begin literary analysis. Work on those pizza sales :)  Have a great week and let me know if your conference date or time will not work. Thank you!

I hope you had a great break and some much needed family time!!! It will be nice to get back into a regular routine again. We will have another FastBridge assessment next week. This will give us an update on your child's academic growth up to this point. We will go over results during January conferences.  Reminder that the pizza fundraiser will be starting soon. Please do your best to sell pizzas. This helps keep your child's cost for Wolf Ridge down. Our studies for the next couple weeks will cover text evidence, multiple texts, sentence structure, parts of speech, and Expository writing. Have a great week and welcome to 2025!!
