Families,
Oh boy is it going to be cold this week!!! You may want to have plan B ready incase we have another  "weather"  2 hour late start or snow day. One never knows what MN will throw at us!!  It is going to be a busy week!!  I Love to Read month activities continue each day. Thursday will be our Battle of the Books. Grade 4 will start at 1:20. It will be on live stream for families to watch in the comfort of your own chair. Friday is wear a Travel Shirt. If you have traveled somewhere or have a shirt/hoodie from another destination, please wear it (school appropriate of course). Science and Social St. both have a quiz this week as well. MCA prep is under way. We will be doing a variety of reading passages and going over reading skills, and learning new ones as we go. It is important your child be in school as much as possible so they don't get behind. Math is going to continue learning new material with review along the way.  I will have practice packets going home soon. These are great for keeping things fresh!! It is crazy how much they learn and have to remember, but it can be done, a little each day :)  If any of you are on the fence about Catch up Club, please consider signing your child up. They do not "have to" go every time. It is helpful if they do.  We have teachers on hand to help with homework and reteach concepts if needed. Great way to practice math facts and get that math homework done!!  Stay warm and I hope you have a great week!!!  Reminder...No school Monday Feb. 15 for President's Day.
