Can you believe it is March already?? I think every year goes faster than the one before...how can that be possible? Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed the weekend!! With melting snow, the playground will be messy. Please make sure you have extra clothes at school for your child to change into if need be. What a fun I Love to Read month we had!! I do hope the reading continues the rest of their lives!! This week is back to normal. Spelling, Reading Comprehension along with Science and Social Studies. We are hitting math and reading review heavy this month. When we return from Spring Break we are taking the Reading test that week. Watch for review packs to come home. Please work on these a little at a time. We learn a lot during the year and it can be a challenge to remember it all. This is to refresh what we have learned. Yes MCA testing is important, but please try not to make this a stressful time. I believe I mentioned report cards would be going home this week, it will actually be next week. The second trimester was done on Friday, we have this week to get grades to the office and then printed. We also have D.A.R.E. starting on Mar. 10. I will be sending home a permission slip in the Wed. envelope. Please sign and return it to school. Have a wonderful week!!
