It was nice to see all the families that came out for Family Engineering Night!! It looked like they had fun!!! Congratulations to the prize winners!I hope you all have a great Spring Break!!!
Spelling for grade 2 will focus on comparatives with -er, and -est endings. Grade 3 spelling will focus on final -y, -ye, and-ie.
Spelling gr 2~ round~rounder, smooth~smoother, light~lighter, funny~funniest, early~earliest, pretty~prettiest, big~bigger, sad~sadder, hot~hottest
Spelling gr 3~ money, hockey, goalie, movie, apply, occupy, classify, twenty (cursive and print)
Math for grade 2 will begin Topic 13 Measuring and 3 will finish Topic 12 with a test sometime this week. It is taking us a little longer to get through this Topic.
Science this week will cover weather.
