February is I Love to Read Month. Watch for different activities happening throughout the week/month!, Be sure to read each night. Wear something green or Irish Pride Friday!!! The students did an awesome job selling pizza!!! Hope they met their goal!!! Academics this week/month will cover Key ideas/Details, Sentences, and Black History Month. Thank you for coming in for your child's conference! I am looking forward to the last half of the year and seeing the academic growth continue.  Have a great week!!

I look forward to meeting with you this week and going over your child's progress. If you are not able to make your conference for some reason, please call the office and they will send me a message. We can always reschedule it. This week in class we will get caught up from last week, Pizza sales are coming to a close soon. If you have not sold any yet you might want to think about it. A case of pizzas will put $45 toward the cost of Wolf Ridge. It is a great savings on delicious pizza!! I hope you enjoyed the long weekend!! Have a great week and I will see you either Tuesday or Thursday!

Workshop No school

Well, the cold weather has decided to make its presence known yet again. PLEASE make sure your child has the appropriate outdoor clothing. Only two weeks of January left, that is crazy!! With that being said, I have a little over two months to get four months  of my curriculum in. If you plan on taking any extended vacations, please let me know so I can plan around those. Keep working on those pizza orders! All orders, and money, due Jan. 30. This week we will cover how to interpret information presented in diverse media and formats. Have a great week and stay warm.

What a way to return to school. That closure last Tuesday threw me off!! We have our spelling bee this Wed. If you plan on attending, be sure to sign in at the Elem. office. Also, on Wed., we will be scheduling our conference times. If the selection made for you will not work, please let me know right away so I can make changes if possible. This week we will wrap up our Flannan Isles Unit (main ideas/details). Pizza sales will begin soon. Watch for more information to come. Have a great week!
