Thank you for coming in and meeting with me concerning your child! It takes all of us to make sure your child has a successful school year. Please be sure to reach out if you ever have any concerns!  We finally have a full, normal week!!! I am excited about this!!! In class we will be learning about text evidence, story elements, and finishing up our narrative essay. We contimue to wear orange to show support against bullying.  Also, picture retakes Wed.!!   Reminder, meat orders will need to be picked up Oct. 28 from 9-5.  I hope you had a nice, long weekend!!

Conferences this week, Oct. 13-14 from 4-7 and Oct. 15 from 8-3. The book fair will be open during this time. Purchases on Oct. 15 will need to be done by noon as the book fair will be taken down at that time. Continue to wear orange on Wednesdays please!! Visitors will not be allowed on the playground during Hot Lunch Day. Picture retake will be Oct. 22nd. I am looking forward to meeting with you to celebrate your child! Have a great week!

I hope everyone had a chance to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather this last weekend. Typical MN times, we need to dress in layers. Be sure your child has warm clothes in their locker just in case the AC is on full blast or it cools off outside. It is hard to work when we are all freezing. Sounds like the first math test went well for the class!! I am very proud of them all. For L.A. we are going to keep plugging away on our personal narrative and begin working on our book reports. The work will be done in class. You are welcome to take them home when we meet for conferences. Conferences are next week Mon.-Wed. The elementary school is not in session next Wed., but the high school IS. We also have our book fair going on at that time. Great way to get some gifts/stocking stuffers.
