Wow, where did April go?? I can't believe how fast time is flying now!!! Class picture day will be May 2nd. Wax Museum will be in the Media Center and large group room on May 6, 9:45-11:30. Wolf Ridge is May 8-10. Be sure to look over the packing list for Wolf Ridge, you don't want to be searching for things the night before. Track and Field day will be May 17, alternate is May 20. May 24th is 6th grade graduation. The ceremony will take place in the HS auditorium at 9:00 am. You may take your child home with you after the ceremony and get a head start on the long weekend.. Have a great week and enjoy this typical spring weather!

MCA testing continues this week. Make up days will be next week. We will continue with wrapping up our wax museum project and start on the display boards. Social Studies is covering WWI & WWII. A lot happening on Friday!! The students can bring in a snack and drink for the movie. Please NO energy drinks, twist top preferably. Mr. Sawatzke will be in the building Friday at 11:00 for staff and students to visit with him!! We are excited to see him again! Have a great week.

I hope you had a great weekend!! Our students have their Music Program on Tuesday night. Please have your child to the High School Choir room by 6:4o p.m. The concert will start at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Apr. 24 (Wed.) and Apr. 25 (Thurs.) will be the last of MCA testing for grade 6. We will test Math right away in the morning again. I will be showing the movie "Encanto" (PG) on Apr. 26 (Friday) and having a discussion about Autism following. Please let me know if you do not want your child to watch the movie. This week we will continue working on our wax museum project and some WWI and WWII Social Studies. Have a wonderful week!!

We have a modified schedule this week with late start on Tuesday and testing Thurs./Fri.. morning.  The students will be able to have breakfast on testing days., no charge. We have started the research project for the wax museum. I am excited to see their final projects! Each Friday in April, Rachel's Challenge Club is asking us to wear Blue to honor Autism month.  I hope you all have a great week!! Let the sun shine and temps get warm!!
