Thank you for coming in and visiting with me concerning your child's education. A few changes coming our way in 6th grade. Character Ed. will start this week. We are also going to try a full week of Science and then a full week of Soc. St. This week will be all Soc. St. with me. Next week, all Science with Mr. Fuchs. I love to read month starts Thurs. Each family will get a book to read together. We ask you read one chapter a night. The following day, prizes will be given for correct answers from the previous reading. Rise and Read Thurs., 7:30-8:15. We hope you enjoy the activities and the book!! This week we are going to learn about the first female to run the Boston Marathon (analytical thinking), Sentences, and finish Sodbuster, test this week. Have a great week!

I look forward to meeting with you this week and going over your child's progress. If you are not able to make your conference for some reason, please call the office and they will send me a message. We can always reschedule it. This week in class we will cover critical thinking, clauses, and Sodbusters, Pizza sales are coming to a close soon. If you have not sold any yet you might want to think about it. A case of pizzas will put $45 toward the cost of Wolf Ridge. It is a great savings on delicious pizza!! I hope you enjoyed the long weekend!! Have a great week and I will see you either Tuesday or Thursday!

Well, not how I was hoping to return after break!! One solid day with the students was not my plan. Anyway, I am planning on returning this week and see how it goes. We have late start this week and FastBridge testing. Please have your child bring headphnes for this test. Plug in or Bluetooth will work. The plan is to test Wed. and Thurs. I will let you know if that changes. Our studies for this week will cover last weeks plan...analytical skills (true crime pod cast), direct-indirect objects, the US Dakota War, and Expository writing. Stay healthy LOL!!
