I hope you had a great break and some much needed family time!!! It will be nice to get back into a regular routine again. We will have another FastBridge assessment next week. This will give us an update on your child's academic growth up to this point. We will go over results during January conferences.  Reminder that the pizza fundraiser will be starting soon. Please do your best to sell pizzas. This helps keep the cost for Wolf Ridge down. Our studies for this week will cover analytical skills (true crime pod cast), direct-indirect objects, the US Dakota War, and Expository writing. Have a great week and welcome to 2024!!

We have some fun dress up days this week, be sure to check the calendar to see what is going on each day. Lockers are full again, please send a garbage bag with your child so they can bring some goodies home to you :) I hope you all have a Merry Christmas and stay healthy!! Enjoy the break and I will see you next year!! I can't wait to see what 2024 brings us!

I hope you had a nice weekend and were able to spend time with your family. A few things going on this week. Report cards will be printed Monday and ready for the Wednesday envelope. They will be in an envelope that you will sign and return to school. Tuesday is Late Start, wear Irish Pride shirts. This week we are working on Compare and Contrast (with Mona Lisa and an art heist), conjunctions, Civil war, and narrative writing. Have a wonderful week!   Bring in a colorful or designed sock for Tuesday!!!!

Final grades will be turned in by the end of the week. You will get a paper copy of the report card in next weeks Wednesday envelope. Please keep the report card, sign the envelope, and return it to school. I will use that again for your child's Trimester 2 report card. Let me know if you have any questions. Our class will be working on a project during late start and would like an old sock with some design. It is going to be cut up!!! Please bring it to school by this Friday, thank you! This week we will finish the escape room and begin a Mona Lisa lesson, conjunctions, and The Civil War. Have a wonderful week!!
