Families,
Sept. late start, we sent our first letter in the mail!! I hear some students have been getting letters back. I love it!!! These letters do not need to come to school. This is a conversation between your child and the person they wrote to. Please make sure you have an address for your child and that your child knows their own address!! Staff has set up conferences times. A note will be sent in the Wed. envelope. If the date and time you get will not work, please let me know asap so I can make arrangements. I will go over FastBridge scores during our meeting. Please have your child join you for this conference if possible. We are still plugging away with our Irish Expectations. Book orders will begin after the Book Fair. We do get proceeds from that and it will be open during conferences. I am starting Flashlight Friday. If you have a flashlight your child can bring in, please send it with them. They will be used during Reading! This week we will cover Verbs/Verb tense, Narrative writing, Early Dakota, and types of sentences. Have a wonderful week!!
