We are off to a great start!!! I have a few tweaks to work out yet on my schedule, but overall things are wonderful!!!! We have our NWEA Reading test this Wednesday at 1:00. Please try to have your child here that day. We are also going to have an APEX training for our fundraiser.... Fun Run. Our class will have a 15 minute training each day for the next week. This is a school fundraiser, not for 6th grade. I noticed my blog has changed. The new program has members sign up with a google account. If you are still interested in my blog/newsletter, you will need a google account. I will continue to send paper copies home. Upgrades are not always the best!!! Sorry about that!! Homecoming activities next week, more to come!  Have a great week and be sure your child dresses for the crazy weather we are about to have!!

Thank you for coming to Open House!! I am enjoying the responses I'm getting for the Parent Homework!! This really helps me get a better picture of each child I get to work with. As you can see we have another busy week. NWEA is Friday and next Wed. If your child misses a day, we will be able to make up the test. I will go over results during conferences. Please be sure to return the conference sign up sheet (orange). Teachers will be meeting to set up times in the next few weeks. Week one was great!!! Have a wonderful week!!

Welcome Back!!! I am excited to see you at Open House!! We are going to start switching classes this week for Language Arts (ELA), Math, and Sci/Soc. St. After NWEA tests, we will look at the scores. During conferences I will go over test results and answer any questions you may have at that time. If you have questions now, please call me or send an email. I am more than happy to answer any questions you may have concerning anything here at MLE. I will always have a hard copy of my newsletter in your child's planner every Monday. The vocabulary list will be printed on the back side as well. If you would like to receive my blog/newsletter by email, fill out the BLOG form (from open house) and return it to school.
