Monday is World  Down Syndrome Day, wear blue/yellow. Crazy socks are welcome!!!  This week we continue reviewing Language Arts skills. We had a tough week last week, I am hoping things go better this week. I blame it on the Full Moon!! This is also our last full week before spring break. I hope you  have a chance to get some family fun in during this time. MCA information and breakfast menu was sent home last week. Please be aware of testing dates. If your child does miss a testing day, we will have make up days available. Be sure they get a lot of rest the night before. Thank you for helping with this!!  Have a great week with your child!  Club's Choice due Tuesday!!!

A couple of dates to add to your calendar, 1. 6th grade Choir concert is Tues., April 19 at 7:00 pm. It will take place in the HS auditorium, 2. May 20th is Track and Field Day!! The alternate would be May 27th.  Club's Choice orders are due March 22nd.

We continue to review in Language Arts. So much to recall!!  Character Ed. has been discussing Rachel Joy Scott, from Rachel's Challenge. Please ask your child about her legacy and what we are talking about in class.  I hope you had a fun weekend if you were out and about!  Enjoy the warm temps we are about to encounter!!!!

Wow, two trips to Powder Ridge with in a couple weeks!! So much fun!!! Congratulations to all the readers that helped us reach our reading goal!!  I have three weeks to review all we have learned thus far in Language Arts. It is more important than ever to be sure your child is in school each day. We are taking the Reading MCA the week we get back from spring break. Please remind your child this is important and they need to take it seriously. Your child brought home a Time Capsael Friday. This is to be kept in a safe place and relooked at on 3-3-33 (11 yrs from now!!)
