Well, the last memo for the year!!! I want to thank all of you for making this year so enjoyable and for your support at home as well. This is a great group of students and I hope they all have a wonderful summer!!!!
Grades will be sent home on Friday. MCA scores will be sent to you with next years teacher letter.

Families,
A fun week for us!!! Please make sure your child has a bag lunch for Wednesdays field trip!!! Also, if you want to send extra money, we do stop at the gift shop!!
Friday is our track and field day. If it is rainy, the alternate date will be Tuesday, May 30.
We will continue to switch for Math groups. Social Studies, Science, and Word Study will not meet.
Be sure you have the Volunteer Training if you will be joining us for Fort Snelling and ice cream day (the last day of school).

I hope all the Mother's had a nice Mother's Day!!!!
Malwitz's class brought in $100 for Trash to Cash, so we will have Gum Day on Tuesday!! Way to go everyone!!!! This will be our last week of rotations for Social and Science. May 26 is Track and Field Day!!! Please know kids are NOT allowed to leave school grounds for lunch. You may bring a lunch if you like, but kids need to stay here. When your child has finished all events they signed up for, you can check in with me, sign out your child in the office, and leave for the weekend. This is a fun day and I hope you can all come and watch!!

This is our last week for Trash to Cash collections. Please bring in all Box tops you may have laying around.
This week for Social Studies, Mrs. Kopff will wrap up Culture. Science will continue with Energy and Plants. Word Study will focus on Comparative Suffix -er, -est.
Reminders...May 9~Late Start, 11~Picture day, 12~Grandparents Day, 24~Fort Snelling, 26~Track and Field Day, 29~No school.

District #881 has a Facebook page and parents/guardians have the opportunity to “opt out” of having their child not posted on the page.
If attending a school event such as a field trip or Track & Field day or school programs, to name a few, and you choose to take photos, please refrain from posting them on Facebook without the permission from the parents/guardians of the children in the photos. (student handbook p.9)
Please be careful when posting school events on Facebook. Several families do not want their child posted and it would take some time to check in with each family for their ok. Feel free to post your child/family, just make sure there are not any other children in the picture as well.
