Families,

Oh my goodness...this is the last memo for this school year!!! Pretty sure it all happened in a blink of an eye!!! I had such a fun year with this group of students!! Of course there were days that could be challenging, but we overcame those! Some of these students I have had for 3 years in a row!!! Just so you know, I will not be going to 4th gr. next year. I stop at grade 3!!! Although, I never say never ;)

Thank you for all your support this year helping your child learn and grow as much as possible!!! Faces will be new next year, but I will always have a special place in my heart for ALL my students!!! Spending this much time together, its hard not to get a little attached!! I hope they will come and say hi next year...you as parents too!!! Whoa, the big kid hallway next year~YIKES!!! Final report cards will be sent home on the last day of school so we can record correct attendance. MCA scores will be mailed out sometime in Aug./Sept. 

I hope you all have a wonderful, healthy, and safe summer break!! See you in the Fall!!!

Oh boy, the days are winding down now!!! I can't believe how fast this year has gone! YIKES!!!  We have a fun day instore for Monday!! MLE made its Club Choice goal so we will get to spend an hour in the gym jumping on inflatables!! Tuesday we are going to Fort Snelling!! It is going to be warm, please be sure you dress accordingly and have plenty to drink. We plan on having  lunch in the park after the tour. Make sure your child has a good lunch with plenty to eat. A snack for the morning ride would be a great idea!!! Library books need to be returned by Thursday. If you have any MLE books at home please send them this week. If you any have lost MLE books, call Kath and she will settle up with you. This will also be our last week with book bag. You can keep these!! They work great to store things for those long car trips!!!  Track and Field Day was another success!!! It is so nice to see the boys and girls cheering for one another!! Be sure to keep an eye on your cabbage!!!!  Enjoy the warm temps coming up :)

The day has finally arrived!!! Just a few remonders for tomorrow. Be sure your child knows what they are having for lunch. I will need to get my lunch count to the lunch room asap in the morning. Thank you for helping with this and enjoy the day!! Looks like the weather will be perfect :)

1.   Water Bottle/s with your name on it/them

2.   Good running shoes

3.   Sunglasses

4.   SUNSCREEN!!!!!!!  

Please apply before school, we will do anoather application after lunch

Remember each Monday, during May, we will wear Black for Melanoma Awareness!! 

This week in Word Study the focus will be on Comparative Suffixes -er, -est. Math will review all 20 Topics and practice money for the remainder of the school year. Social Studies will continue with Cultures and Science will continue with the food chain and critters. Dates to pencil in...  20~Track and Field, 24~Fort Snelling. Have a great week and water that cabbage :)

REMINDER~Be sure to send in extra clothes and snack.  PE shoes as well.
