This is the last week of our I Love to Read Month. Be sure you are writing down your childs reading minutes on the calendar. I will collect them this WEDNESDAY!!. Names will be put into a drawing. The winner/s will win a book or a ride to school in a Fire Truck!!! 

The second trimester comes to an end this Friday. Report cards will go home next Wednesday in the envelope. Keep the report card, sign and return the envelope, please.

Math for the week is starting Topic 13~ Decimals and Money, with a test on Friday. We are also starting to review past Topics to prepare for MCA's. Word Study is learning the rule of Unaccented Final Syllables -le, -el, -il, -al. Social Studies is finishing up Economics. Science is covering the body system. 

We are still collecting for the Art and Movie baskets...

REMINDER~Be sure to send in extra clothes and snack.  PE shoes as well.

BOOK SWAP

We are having our Book Swap this Friday!!

Bring in any GENTLY used book and trade it for another. Your child will get a ticket for each book they bring in. For however many tickets they have, they can take that many books home. If you bring 2 chapter books, you take 2 chapter books, etc.

You can bring books in until Wednesday.

Thursday is the set up and shopping will be in the morning on Friday. A great way to recycle books and get some new/used ones to read.
